2. How to use it with Full Cover Tips
Using Polygel to apply your tips is often called the “Gelly Tip” or “Gel-X” method. It is much stronger than using 401 glue or tabs.
Prep: Clean, buff, and dehydrate your natural nail. Apply a gel base coat and cure.
Squeeze & Slice: Squeeze a small pea-sized amount of Polygel into the inside of the trapezoid tip.
Smooth: Dip a brush into Slip Solution (or 70% Alcohol) and pat the gel flat inside the tip.
Press & Cure: Press the tip onto your nail at a 45° angle. While holding it down, use your handheld UV lamp to “flash cure” it for 10 seconds.
Final Cure: Put your whole hand in the large lamp for 60 seconds
